Hello,
I made a huge jump from SAP Hybris 6.7 to SAP Cloud Commerce 1905 and found some strange things.
It looks like, that after initialization CC needs a complete full indexed backoffice before it can be used.
The Problem is, that if there are few products already imported with impex, this takes a huge amount of time.
So I made a customization to prodctSolr.impex from backofficesolrsearch and made this change:
INSERT_UPDATE SolrIndexConfig; name[unique = true] ; legacyMode; batchSize; exportPath; indexMode(code); numberOfThreads
; indexConfig-Backoffice ; false ; 1000 ; ; TWO_PHASE ; 6
With this small change the adds increased from 100 to 1000, but I cannot see any increase in speed. The Startup still took a huge amount of time:
INFO: Server startup in 4548630 ms ~76m
Now I am little bit puzzled, how I can increase the 1st startup of the system.
Any ideas?

I would suggest to simply do not index backoffice during startup - you can set this property in some *.proeprties file (e.g. local.properties):
backoffice.solr.search.index.autoinit=false
