SAP Commerce 2205 - rush link generates wrong symbolic link for custom smartedit extension

Good day SAP Community.

I have been struggling since last week to make my custom smartedit extension work.

I am in the process of finishing the migration from 2011 to 2205 for our SAP Commerce installation.

I have performed the migrateSmarteditExtension command and it successfully completed.

When I then attempt to run ant all (or updatesystem) the rush link command creates symbolic links, but the links it creates are wrong as it adds an extra (/hybris) in the link.

Following the creation of these bad links, the build fails as it attempts to access smartedittools content using the bad link

I am using SAPCommerce 2205.23, running on Windows.

Anybody has had this issue in the past?
