SAP CCO: 'Duplicate ID is caused' error

Hi experts

I am having a challenge with one of many of my POS (SAP Customer Checkout). It's connected both to SAP B1 and to SAP CCO Manager. To SAP B1 its posting perfectly but to SAP CCO Manager it's not posting all receipts, its saying the above error 'Duplicate ID is caused'. How can I resolve this, please.

Hello nvdola,

CCO and CCOm must always run on the same feature pack. Even though there's no guarantee that this will solve the issue your next step should be an update of CCOm to FP08.

Kind regards,

Gunther

Unfortunately I have 9 tills and they are all on FP06 and only this one is on FP08. I rather downgrade.

HI nvdola, did you setup a completely new CCO with new POS id or did you install a backup? If you did install a backup, don't forget to change the sequence number via the cco_restore_bat in the cco install folder. Increse the numbers so far that no already existing receipts are created.

I have tried all that to no avail. I have changed the ID still it did not work. SAP says the ID/Prefix is part of the receipt ID but even after changing it, it still didn't work. I even decided to put a special character as part of the POS ID but still it refused. The only thing I think now is maybe its because the new CCO is not properly compatible with the CCO manager. CCO manager was installed in 2018 so they may be some differences.

Honestly speaking this problem is now freaking me out. I have done all I have read here and also on SAP Documents but still its not working.

Hey Blessing,

you are talking about an old CCOm, the FP Version of the CCO and the CCOM has to be the same, if CCO is using a newer version then the CCOm this can cause many problems. Which versions are you using?
