I am trying to build a transactional app based on SAP CAPM node.js as part of side-by-side extension where I need to show aggregated and non-aggregared POS daily sales data sourced from CAR on premise system and finally do some GL financial doc posting to S/4HANA. The app wil be run manually from Fiori launchpad daily or on-demand. It would help me to know the best practice here. Since it is a CAPM app,I am thinking of below options :
- Get the data using REST OData API from CAR if any available or
- replicate the data from CAR using SDI or SLT (or any better tool recommend?) similar fashion into SAP HANA service HDB.
Any guidance is appreciated.
