SAP CAR along with S/4HANA 1709

Dear Experts,

We have option to co-deploy SAP CAR with S/4HANA and also standalone. I have read the pros and cons of both options on below link :

I would like to hear consultant experiences on both the options and would like to hear practical advice on both the setups.
