SAP C4C UoM Mapping with ECC UoM

Hello experts,

Need your help in resolving a conflict we are facing while mapping C4C unit of Measure with ECC measurement units.

As by design, we have to map C4C UoM to ECC ISO codes of measurement units and not directly with ECC UoM; we are facing challenges in following two cases:

1. No ISO code assigned to a measurement unit in ECC. We need Ounce UoM to be passed from and to C4C/ECC but since there is no ISO code assigned to this measurement unit in ECC, how do we do the codelist mapping?

2. Same ISO code assigned to two or more measurement units in ECC. We have both inbound and outbound flows for these Unit of measures (Gallon and Litre) but in ECC both have ISO code LTR assigned. How should we do code list mapping for such cases. If we mark either one as inbound default/Outbound default, how can we pass values for the other UoM as for both we have inbound and outbound flows (material, transaction and price integration scenarios) enabled.

Please suggest how to resolve above conflicts. Should this be fixed from ECC ISO code settings or is there a way we can do this at C4C end.
