In the context of a sales campaign in C4c, is it possible to default the sales organization fields in the target group, content and campaign views?
I've tried with the workflow rules, but only BO Campaign is available and not even showing the option "field update".
I've tried with SDK, but only BO Campaign and Target Group have an write enabled sales org field. I still miss being able to populate the sales org in the the Content view.
Has someone been able to do this? The idea is auto-populating the sales org field in the Target Group, Content and Campaign views with the (first) sales organization maintained in the employee sales data settings.

Workflow rules would be the the most straightforward solution here, as you already searched for. I could see this link in our Customer Influence Site where this kind of control is being asked. I could see this one here that it is under review and develop phase so this makes us believe that your specific request made should be in good hands and status - I already gave my vote 😃
As per PDI possibilities for it, you can create an incident and request for a PSM Release to give you more flexibility with your own custom code. Just follow the guidelines described here in this KBA so that we can deliver you the best support possible.
