SAP C4C report is giving error message "Report cannot be opened; report an incident."

Hello Team,

Hope you are doing well today!

I am trying to extract the lead details based on Individual customer IDs.

When I try to update more than 100 Individual Customer IDs in the SAP C4C Report selection field. System is throwing below error message.

"Report cannot be opened; report an incident."

Could you please let me know how can I resolve this issue.

Is there any configuration setting to increase the selection field limit more than 100 values.

Are you trying to use all 100 customer IDs in report selection ? if yes then can you please try by using "in between" that might help.

Thank you for your response.

I am using random customer IDs. If I use 'In Between' condition, then report will display all the lead details whose customer IDs are within that range. I need only leads details of those random Customer IDs.

Root Cause of the issue:

'Individual customer ID' field which was added in the selection of the report is not coming from the Anchor Data Source.

Solution:

When choosing fields for variables, try to use those fields that come from the anchor data source. Setting filters on fields from the anchor data source is always preferable.

If the data is huge in the report and if you try to extract the data based on the field coming from Non-Anchor data source then system sometimes gives you 'Report cannot be opened; report an incident' error message.

Make sure that the IDs are separated by semi colon (;) .

100 customer IDs should not be an issue.

Thank you for your response.

It is working fine if I update upto 100 Customer IDs.

If I update more than 100 Customer IDs it is giving error.

I updated 101 customer IDs in the same report selection, it is giving error message.
