SAP C4C-Facebook Integration

Dear Team,

When we try to do a C4C face book integration, am facing this mention error "URL Blocked: This redirect failed because the redirect URI is not whitelisted in the app’s Client OAuth Settings. Make sure Client and Web OAuth Login are on and add all your app domains as Valid OAuth Redirect URIs.".

Did any one faced this kind of issues, I couldn't able to find the path to correct this error.

In reference to Strict URI Matching ,issue is caused by Facebook that they force App to use strict mode for redirect URL. In C4C we used to create dynamic redirect URL for authentication . We have come up with corrective deployments which should be in place tentatively by April 9th .
Please check further to this.

I face the same issue. Kindly update with respect to corrective deployments.

As per the recent update the issue didn't get fixed with the deployment. We will share more updates once we have.

Further to certain investigation, we could see that this error is caused by Facebook side. Due to their Cambridge analytics scandal, they have disabled some access to the Facebook API platform. Please refer to this page:

They are currently “pausing all new messaging experiences (including new authentications on approved apps)”.

With an old APP, you may still be able to connect to Facebook. So this is not a bug on SAP side.
As of now, we must wait for a future review and adjustment on Facebook's side.

Thanks Prasanth, but we are using through web browser, so the same issue occurs.

Did our SAP development team got any update from Facebook on when this issue will fixed.
