SAP C4C Enterprise search: Search by TaxID Problem

Dear Expert,

Customer need searching Account & Contact Information by TAX NUMBER

But, I cannot search this field in advanced/enterprise search below. please help to resolve this.

Dear Reinaldo,

I think that is not possible. However, you can insert the Tax Number in the filters.

Now test with a Customer:

However, unfortunately does not work on the general filter.

My advice, you can copy the tax number to an extension field (type Text(40)) and insert it in the filter, just like I did for the standard tax number. Extended fields work on the general search 😃

By the way, create this field using the layout adaptation, you may call TaxNumberCopy or something like that and copy the value from the standard using the before-save of Customer.

Thanks for your help, yes I did, but the client wanted it in the basic search. I opened a PDI in sap support to solve the issue
