since we have the problem, that Business Partner Adresses cannot be deleted as long as they are used by Contacts I was wondering whether I can reassign another valid address to Contact in order to make the address deletable.
As the data comes in from SAP ERP via CPI, there is no use of a manual process. The SAP ERP is the data source for Business Partners and their adresses. Contacts on the other hand are creatred in C4C and are not replicated to SAP ERP. But they inherit their address from the Business Partner Object.
This leads to error messages like "You are not allowed to delete this address." when a Business Partner gets updated and a address is deleted.
So the idea is to fix this by reassigning the Business Partners new main address to the Contact so deletion is possible. The only point I am missing is: Where can I hook in in the replication process to witness the address deletion before its magic is done.
I already have implemented enhancements in SAP C4C like RecipientSystemDeterminationbyBuinessObject to avoid unwelcomed replication. So I am searching for a similar process to "correct" the address in there.
