SAP C4 Event Notification not working for endpoint url with port and subdomain

Hi Community,

I am playing with the event notification of our SAP C4 instance to get real time notification of certain business objects. I first tried to use the "ngrok" (https://ngrok.com/) to route the traffic to my localhost and I receive the notification. But when I use the endpoint url with port and subdomain like "https://<host>:xxxx/<path1>/<path2>", and I didn't receive anything. I did a tcpdump on the certain port of our host machine, and there is no traffic came in.

So I wonder if there is any restriction of setting up the endpoint url of SAP C4 event notification?

Hi Jack,

Did you check the status of the response in the event monitoring view?

Sounds like the request even didn’t reach the target machine. It seems that there are already issues when trying to set up the HTTP connection.
