Sales Order Creation Involved Party Selection Restriction by Role Type / Sales Document

When creating a specific sales order type (FSE Consignment) in Cloud for Customer we would like to restrict the Customer Role Type that can be entered into the Account Involved Party field.

As an example a Customer has the following Customer Records:

Sold-to - 1234
FSE Consignment - 4321

When creating a Sales Order of type FSE Consignment (ZALT) we want to restrict the customer records which can be selected for the Account involved party to those of type FSE Consignment - Sold-to should not be an allowed option. At the moment we see all Party Types under account. Is this restriction possible?

Hi Alan,

you can use Code List Restriction to do this (Administrator work centre > Overview > Code List Restriction).

The following worked on my side:

• BO: Sales Document
• Code to Restrict: Party Role
• Control Field: Document Type
• (You can further choose to assign this per business role).

You then have the option to select which values are allowed per Document Type.
