Sales Cloud - Setting Contact as Obsolete

Hi, I noticed today in my system that when I set a 'main' Contact to Obsolete status, the Contact disappears from the Account > Contacts tab/view, however, the Relationship still remains i.e. 'Is Contact For'

Therefore, within the Account header, I still see Main Contact = Obsolete Contact....why is this?

Why doesn't the relationship between Account & Contact also get removed?

Look at in the Change Node. In this place you must find the response.

Hi Ben,

This behavior could be due to the fact that integration to the external system is activated for Business Partner and when you update a customer in C4C, that update is replicated in the external system but the contact is not updated and when you return to the C4C, the contact is obsolete.

I recommend you that verify if the Customer is update in the external system with the relation contact.

Hi Diamila, thanks for your response. However, we are seeing this behaviour even for Contacts which are not associated to Accounts from an External system. Any further advice?
