Sales Cloud Retail Execution - Set Points of engagement to obsolete

There is an option to set Points of engagements to Obsolete through Actions menu. However this option is always disabled for all points of engagements even after removing them from active engagement maps.

The response I have got from SAP support is that points of engagements cannot be set to obsolete if they are linked to engagement maps even if the engagement map itself is obsolete. This doesn't seem logical to me as it should be possible set the point of engagement to obsolete if all the engagement map versions it is linked to are already made obsolete. any inputs?

Hi Siva,

This is indeed the way it is currently set up.

And sometimes when not correctly set up - you have to start all over again.

It would be an improvement if the different elements can be used a bit more flexible with regards to statuses.

I gues you could register an influence.

Thanks. yes it certainly helps to keep the elements tidy from maintenance point of view and would be a small but useful improvement I guess.
