Sales Cloud: Is it possible to automatically attach a certain document to an opportunity?

Hi all,

is it possible to automatically attach a document (PDF-file) for certain opportunities (with document type X)?

I checked the workflow and the business configuration, but didn't find a way. So, I think it's not possible?

Hi Deborah,

As far as i can see this is not possible.

Nevertheless I have a different solution approach for you for this requirement.

You can create an activity plan for the object opportunity. Within this activity plan you add a task e.g. check attached document and in the task in the activity plan you can assign a pdf document.

So if the conditions are met (doc.type, sales org, source etc.), the activity plan is triggered, the task including the document is assigned, to the opportunity.

Hi Marie-José,

thanks for your valuable feedback! Thats as well a good workaround. We will now implement the form in the PDF-file as C4C survey and generate a PDF out of C4C.
