Runtime error in s4H Cloud when creating a business partner

Hello,

I am receiving below runtime error when creating a business parter. I tried again after rebooting my laptop and empty my cache. This started happening yesterday.

Runtime Error: 'ASSERTION_FAILED'. The OData request processing has been abnormally terminated. If you use SAP S/4HANA Cloud, please create an incident. Otherwise, if "Runtime Error" is not initial, launch ADT feed "Runtime Errors" or transaction ST22 / SM21 (system log analysis) for details and analysis.

Any thoughts?

Hi Pieter,

I also have met this issue when I create an entity using EML in RAP, but I don't know what case you ran into.

The reason might be:

The entity doesn't have the %cid when you create, so the system will dump.

Hi Pieter,

It is impossible to know the cause of the error without looking into the system.

As the error says - "If you use SAP S/4HANA Cloud, please create an incident".

You need to create an incident on application component -> LO-MD-BP-ODT
