Dear Experts,
we have a requirement that a MC user should only be able to set an Opt-Out for a permission directly in SAP Marketing Cloud (e.g. a customer calls and tells the Marketing colleague that he does no longer want to receive any emails from us). Afterwards only the contact himself (e.g. via Form with a Double Opt-In Process) should be able to set the Opt-In again. A user should not be able to switch the permission to Opt-In back again.
Does anybody have an idea if or how this could be achieved? I don't think we have that flexibility in SAP Marketing Cloud. I could only imagine to use a BAdI and allow the Opt-In only for the communication user which is used by the integration (SAP_COM_....) or something like that... But don't know if that is even possible.
Best Regards
Tobias

Hello Tobias,
We looked at several possibilities, such as evaluating the SourceSystemID, Adapt UI, as well as the available BAdIs (interaction, contact field control, etc). Unfortunately, there is no straightforward way to achieve this.
Kind regards,
Mohannad
