Restrict default UoM and Quantities

Dear Experts,

I wonder if there is way to restrict the default UoM and Quantities in drop down lists. I'm aware that some of the units can not be set to 'Blocked' in Business Configuration but can I restrict them from appearing in drop down lists?

Hi Mark,

yes, you can easily restrict them in Quantities and Units of Measure Activity in Business configuration workcenter.

If you don’t want to use any of UoM released by default, you can simply change their Activation Status to „Blocked“ and Save. This way you can block all unnecessary trading / physical units and than you would have only needed units in the dropdown list of UoM.Only one "by default" released Unit is mandatory and therefore its Activation Status cannot be changed to "Blocked" - Hour(s) (HUR).

I want to restrict UoM values on an extension Qty field I created for Accounts. I want only specific UoMs to be available in the drop down list controlled by the value another field on the Account. But I don't see my extension Qty field available in the Code List Restrictions. Any ideas how I can achieve this?
