Symptom
At Checkout or through the option 'Print & Send', the report screen of a custom JasperSoft report does not show 'Chinese' as a supported language option, so Chinese characters are missing in the report.

Cause
The translation properties files for the 'Chinese' language were missing and needed to be added in JasperSoft Studio.
Resolution
To add 'Chinese' language support to a report in Jaspersoft Studio:
- Download the report
- Navigate in the Project Explorer to 'Translations.properties' and click on it
- At the properties tab with all the languages click on 'New'
- Fill out the 'New properties file' with the language 'Chinese (Simplified)', using the language 'zh' and country code 'CN'
- Save the translation
- Upload the report to the FSM cloud
Once uploaded, on the the report screen at the mobile app the language selection should have the Chinese language as well.
Please note that only the 'SimSun' font is supported, with no planned support for alternatives like 'Noto Sans SC'. Additionally, using multiple fonts, e.g. such as 'Arial' for English and 'Noto Sans SC' for Chinese, is not supported as well.
