Reporting Sales Cloud (C4C) - Use Year/Month for Navigation

Hi all,

in the "Web Browser" view of a report in C4C I can add a lots of fields as e.g. Year/Month of the close date in report or in selection (see screenshot). If I select "in report" then the characteristic is available in the report and can be used.

My question is: This characteristic (year month of a certain date field) I dont see in the data source and I dont see it as characteristic to create a report navigation. Can I use this kind of characteristic as well in a report navigation? If yes, how?

Hi,

The fields can be used if visible as in your printscreen and add them to your report and your selection.

They are not characteristics, but come with the characteristics. So they do not appear when working on the report via the report wizard.

with regards to Data Types for Characteristics, maybe you will find some interesting info in the analytics guide (par.4.4)
