Replicating Variant Products from SAP Retail

Hello Everybody.

I try to replicate product variants from the SAP ERP Retail to Hybris 6.6. If i use the the transaction BD10 (with checkbox send complete checked) then it replicates all the articles but without creating Variant Products, only flat (IDOC_ARTMAS). Bevor that i use the transaction WGSE to replicate the classification-structur with success (ERP_CLASSIFICATION_026). I think this is used to set the variant-attributes. My questions is should i only send the variants and not the base article from the SAP? Or should i send all articles? I have tried a lot of constellations, but without any success.

Is there any detailled walk-through or configuration guide?

In the datahub-LOGS there is this nullpointer-message to find: "Could not transform by expression determineAdditionalVariantCategoriesAndCategoryName(articleGroup, articleID)"

Hi Levent

When I send a base product from HE4, there are two idocs generated: ARTMAS and RPLMAS. This RPLMAS is not identified in Hybris Data hub, retail package. And I get an error: failed to resolve channel name 'RPLMAS02' datahub. Please help how to resolve this.

Hello Everybody.

i can tell you that everything works really fine now (after i spent a lot of time to get this done).

• Simple products are replicated from SAP

• Simple products with attributes over classification are replicated from SAP

• Basic products with variants are replicated from SAP

• Basic products with variants and variant-creating characteristics and non-variant creating characteristics are replicated from SAP!!!

• Set products with their reference products are replicated from SAP

The main issue was to set the property in the datahub

 saparticle.characteristic.profile=true

to get the variant-creating characteristics working.

And you have to send at first the basic product and afterwards the variants from the SAP to Hybris. Otherwise you do not get the values of the variant-creating characteristics in the variant product.

We hope to have the patch officially released and available for download within the next two weeks.

Also I forgot to mention that you do not need to transfer variants as all variants are transferred automatically with the generic article.

Hi Arthur, I am trying to integrate SAP Hybris (1811) to SAP Retail (ISR) using SAP Cloud Platform Integration (SCPI). Any good trail for this?

this problem is known and we already fixed it in integration package for SAP for Retail (IPR) 2.6.0.2. You can expect a patch in the upcoming days.
