Dear experts,
I have set up standard flow for integration between C4C and Marketing cloud. Most of it is working just fine (customer, lead, opportunity, service ticket replications).
I am having an issue with Task replication from C4C to Mkt, flow "Replicate Business Activity to SAP Marketing". When I create a new task on C4C:
- C4C message monitor is successful;
- CPI is successful (all green);
- Integration does NOT hit Marketing monitor.
I turned on trace mode on CPI and apparently there is a 'business document' decision tree which is making the flow not to go forward onto the Odata part:

Has anyone gone through this?
Any thoughts will be appreciated.

Guilherme.

Hello,
From your snapshot it is clear that somehow mapping step is not able to map the values from C4C to /ImportHeaders/ImportHeader/BusinessDocuments/BusinessDocument. Therefore can you please check the following:
1. Outbound C4C payload has value in /ns0:ActivityReplicationRequest/ActivityReplicateRequest/ActivityReplicateRequest
2. In trace mode check the payload before and after the mapping step "COD_CUAN_Activity_V2_Replicate_Bulk" to be sure if issue is due to mapping or not.
Even if that doesnot help then may be you can give a try by reaching out to SAP Support(if iflow has not yet been modified or no extentions via pre/post exit enabled)

Hello!
Thanks for your input. We did the trace and mapping is ok. But I have found a Note in the documentation and apparently task cannot be replicated from C4C system to Marketing cloud! It is not considered a marketing-driven businessa activity.
It says: In SAP Marketing Cloud, interactions are stored for tasks. So, from SAP Cloud for Customer, the replication of marketing-driven tasks is enabled. Tasks created in the sales system, cannot be replicated.
You can find it here.
Other activites are working just fine. I have been able to replicate appointments as well as phone call tasks.
As for TASKS, I guess the replication is just one way (Marketing to C4C via campaign action - create task).

Guilherme.
Hi Luis,
same problem here.
I know that in the guide it's stated that Tasks created in the sales system cannot be replicated. But why is the iFlow for them triggered then?
Did you get it working for emails? Or what about you angela.lopez?
I have the same issue for emails. As far as I can see the payload is "cleared" after the mapping step. This happens obviously because of a "TypeCode" (e.g. "39") in the xml.
But I didn't find any place in C4C or CPI where we could maintain that TypeCode (in the xml it could be found directly under the ActivityReplicateRequest segment) or an overview which TypeCode is used for which things.
It's working fine for the other activities (phone and appointment), also for leads, opportunities and service tickets.
saurabhkabra2009 maybe you know what this TypeCode stands for? As far as I understand, this is like a "general object type" used in SAP systems and could not be maintained by customer?

Hello Luis,
I'm having the same problem.
Have you found a solution?
At first I had an error because the last router had an obsolete check in the ERROR HANDLING part. I've changed it and the error is gone, but the information still doesn't reach marketing.

Hi Angela,
As a matter of fact I have found a note in the documentation that says "Tasks created in the sales system, cannot be replicated.". So I guess it will never work. Task integration is just from marketing to C4C and not the other way around.
Other business activities should work though. I hope they are working for you! I am able to integrate appointments and phone calls from C4C to Mkt cloud.
Regards,
Guilherme.
