Relative selection- dates

We should be able to report on close date based on "before" or "after" a relative date. For example, I am currently not able to report on all opportunities that have a close date LESS THAN "Today"; once I select the "less than", the only option I am given is to pick a specific date, one I have to change every time I run the report.
