We recently implemented ECP and as a result also enabled a new functionality in SF called rehire with new employment, whereby the employee is given a new assignment ID and this is used as the employee identifier going forward. Unfortunately this solution does not seem to be compatible with ECSC - the old employee ID is still being pulled out and the old employment info with it. We would need this to pull out the current employment info in ECSC as currently the old number is pulling out the old employment info and this is leading to tickets ending up in the wrong territories e.g. weekly payroll when EE is now monthly. We would therefore need a possibility to either include assignment ID in the integration mapping or to have multiple records for the same employee, or the ability to overwrite the employee information with the new employment info.
Has anyone else experienced this issue? If so, could you please vote on my influence request so that this can be acknowledged by SAP -
