Receipt Printing - Footer Text Formatting

Hello everyone,

is it possible to add formatting rules in the text field at Hardware -> Receipt -> Footer Text? I want to change the formatting of this text that gets printed on the receipt, for example change font size, make it bold etc.

Is there a syntax, for example Markdown, behind this field or will I need to use custom print templates for this?
