Re Admission in Same Degree Program

Dear Experts,

Scenario:

Student takes admission in 2016 session and registered 5 modules in that session, But due to some reason student cannot continue his studies and teachers graded him with F grades.

Now student wants to take re admission in same degree program in 2018 session as a fresh student. Because he wants that his CGPA will not be effected by his previous grades.

Requirement:

Can we create two different CS objects for same degree program for one student in different academic session? One CS status will be inactive (After De-Registration), while other CS status will be active (After Re-Admission)
