Quotes / Orders from ERP --> C4C huge data (10.000 and more segments)

Dear all,

following up on this (unfortunately unanswered till now) we found out that it is most probably Sales Quote / Sales Order Replication (ERP --> C4C) that accounts for the traffic.

We have COD_REPLICATE_SALES_ORDER IDocs with 300 or more items (Segment = E101COD_S_SLS_ITEM_DATA) and each item has about 50 Condition / Pricing records (Segment = E102COD_S_BAPICOND)

I'd like to know:

  • Are we doing it wrong? Especially, did we miss something in setup / customizing of ERP --> C4C connectivity that would limit pricing (E102COD_S_BAPICOND segment) e.g. to one or a few COND_TYPE entries per item?
  • Is there a general way to "minify" the output of an IDoc heading to C4C and it is even supported by C4C to minify an IDoc or would C4C always expect a "full set"

Many thanks and kind regards

Jens

Hello Jens,

If you are enabling pricing transfer from SAP to C4C. It is expected and it will based on your pricing procedure structure in SAP.

Thanks,
JP

Hi Keshav,

I might have come across that blog earlier (not completely sure though). So thank you.

However, I believe while the blog laid out in quite some detail how to set up Sales Order / Quote Replication, there isn't some specific passage that deals with my explicit problem: "Huge IDocs"

When we did the onboarding we used the connectivity wizard report "RCOD_CREATE_CONNECTIVITY_SIMPL". I did some random checks and all the artifacts the connectivity report created matched the ones that were described within the blog.

Cheers

Jens
