Quote to Order Process for Alternative line item

Dear Sales Experts of C4C - ERP

We are currently working on Quote to Order process. I Would like to understand how the orders will be created for "Alternative Product".

1. When we submit the quote to customer we give customer two option based on his inquiry Product A ( Main Product ) , Product B ( Alternative to Product A ).

2. Now he decides he want to buy Product B, but now we dont want to submit the Quote again.

3. And we want to proceed to create an Order of Product B , Process wise how should we go ahead?

manideepsatya : There is a Process of Alternative in C4C , but i did the testing now.

It is not possible to create an Order with Alternative line , So we set the same to loss.

From quote, you cannot create multiple orders. Instead you can do this from Opportunity.

I want to create an S4 Order from C4C Quote. I was only checking what is the process of Alternative item?

Hi Dhruvin,

If you meant by adding a new line item (after the order is created for existing set of items) as "Alternative Line Item" and create new order for it - then it is not possible from a quote. There is no process of Alternative Item in C4C as per my knowledge..
