Hi all,
following scenario:
Products & Product Categories will come from an external system into SAP Marketing Cloud. Therefore I create a new Product Origin and will use OData- or CSV-import.
Now I would like to see which of the corporate accounts has which products in use.
What would be the best way to achieve this?
I don't want to do it only by a new interaction type (e.g. "has product in use").
Could it be done using a multiselect-field (Products In Use) on corporate account level? By the way, which Custom-Field-Type do I have to use for that?
Or do I have to "connect" the products with corporate accounts in an other way?
At the end I would like to use it in segmentation (e.g. all accounts that have product X in use) and for analytic reports.

Hi Saurabh,
I was hoping that I just missed that field type but that's what I feared.
Using Marketing Attributes could be a good approach, I haven't thought of that yet.
Thanks for your idea!

Hi Tobias,
Unfortunately there is no way in marketing cloud to create a multi-select custom field.
However, Did you think about using Marketing Attribute as the "Product in use" field. This is the only field in Contacts and Account which can hold multiple value saparated by comma.
For the import you can use API_MKT_CORPORATE_ACCOUNT_SRV to import marketing attributes.
Thanks
Saurabh
