Hello,
We have a use case and I hope that someone can help me or has ideas on how to implement it.
Requirement: In addition to newsletters, we also use the SMC to send discrete information that must be kept confidential until a certain date. This means that only a certain group of people can have access to this email.
In our old mailing solution there was a "draft" feature that restricted the visibility of the mailing (PR, announcement, etc.) (in the content studio) so that only certain people or the editor could see it.
We are now trying to implement something similar in the SMC, but it is important that we have 1 marketing area (for subscriptions etc.) on which there is public and non-public content.
One idea would be to build a kind of mirror marketing area, possibly via custom logic, which always synchronizes the subscriptions between the real and the fake one.
So permission and subscription take place on the real MA. This information is then copied into the Shadow MA and this is where the mailing is created and sent. The logic then copies the unsubscriptions from the Shadow MA back to the real one. Only selected people then receive access to this second marketing area.
Request clarification before answering.
