Quantity Contract -Target Qty field

Hi Experts,

In S4CM we are trying to create a Quantity contract. But there is no Target Qty field in it.

After checking with SAP they suggested to add //BTADMINI/QUNTITY field which we have added.

This added field is not editable and whatever qty we are adding in contract Item its getting added as the Target Qty in this field.

This behavior we think is not correct . This field should be editable So that we can be able to set Target Qty independently.

Also when we tried to create a followup service order from this contract We were able to create and save Service order with Qty more than 2 ie. 3 Qty.

Ideally System should give error and should not allow to create service order with more than the Qty contract.

As this is Quantity contract scenario, if the contract qty is exceeding then it should not allow to save the service order.

Thanks in advance and Please help here to run this qty contract scenario.

Note – We are able to test value contract scenario as expected.

Please find attached screenshot for the reference.

Greetings atul_chaudhari,

In the case a product is not behaving as expected, the right thing to do is to create a message to SAP and work with support and product management teams.

However, before you do that, I would recommend you revise the following:

Look at What's New in SAP S/4HANA for Customer Management 2.0 FPS01 document, with special attention to page 4 and review the topics of service contract management and completion rules. checking your customizing to confirm it is correctly configured.

The following SAP links provide additional information on the completion rules and service contracts

After a detailed review, if you still believe this is a product bug, then it is time to create the SAP message.

Kindly accept the answer if this helped to clarify your topic.

Cheers,
