Publish SAP Asset Performance Management Indicator Updates via Event Mesh

Hey, i am a little new to SAP - so please excuse inaccuracies. I have the following issue:

I want to connect my SAP Asset Performance Management Instance with my S4/Hana Instance
There is an Event Mesh and an APM instance in my SAP BTP cockpit already

Now as far as i understand it, the SAP Event Mesh only allows S4/Hana to publish information, but since my IoT Devices send their indicator information directly to APM,i am still looking for a way to transfer these IoT device Indicators from to my S4/Hana.
That is because S4 contains the rules that fire maintenance requests.

I know that there is a way to implement it manually, but if possible i want to stick to OOTB solutions.
To summarize: Is it possible to post SAP APM indicator updates to S4/Hana (e.g. via Event Mesh)?

There is standard functionality available to transfer indicator values from APM to S4 via event mesh.

Have you considered creating rules in APM and trigger maintenance requests from APM into S4?

First of all thank you for the answer. Can you explain or redirect me to how i can implement said standard functionality?

We tried using rules, but we could just transfer alerts with that.
As far as i understood the maintenance requests are based on the indicators / measuring documents in S4.
