promotions not applied on store in 6.6

Hello Experts,

Our requirement is we have to give the discount for specific customer group,we did from the backoffice using promotion rules,we published the rule still its not coming on store. We follow the below link procedure.

Hi Sindhu,

To add catalog version to promotion module do the following:
1. In Backoffice fo to System -> Types
2. Search for 'CatalogVersionToRuleEngineContextMapping'
3. Use the Search by Type button on the Administration tab
4. Here you can do another mapping of catalog to module

Let me know if that worked and the promotions are working now.

this is also done but not reflecting on the storefront. on a closer look into this i found out that the promotion module that we are publishing the promotion into does not contain our custom product catalog. how to add that ?

Hi Sindhu,

In the Conditions tab try to create a group which will take your condition and the Target customers condition. Your group should have group operator set to AND. Take a look at the screenshot for reference.

This way actions will only be triggered when your condition is satisfied and the target customer is within specified customer group.

Have you created a Promotion Group, and assigned it to the promotion and to the site where you want the promotion to be triggered?

Hi Kamil,

I created " Test Product fixed price" promotion using the existing "Product fixed price" , I didn't create promotion group,the promotion group(productPromotionRuleGroup) is coming automatically while creating promotion ,i changed website property only from electronicPromoGrp to my website. Next i added conditions and Actions and i published the promotion.And i follow the below link steps.
