Promotion engine apply unpublished promotion

Hi Experts,

We are using hybris 6.4, and sometimes, there are promotion that are unpublished and they are applying on the cart. The promotion is related with a product in the cart, and if the user has the product, then the promotion is applied (discount over the product price) even though the promotion is not active. Have someone faced the same problem?

We are in hybris 6.5 ... I don't think if the manip it's mandatory in our case.

The issue happens mostly when we do server start, One work around that would help here is either initialize the promotion module or re publish an already published promotion again .

There is a bug in promotion engine. As quick workaround you can increase config property ruleengine.incremental.update.total.threshold > [total_count_of_yours_prmotions]
