'Program' app is not found in SAP Marketing Cloud

Hi,

It seems like we cannot find the 'Program' app in the SMC version 2002 even though we already have the correct role for it which is Marketing Expert or Manager? Was there a change in the roles authorization in order for users to be able to see this app along with the other in Marketing Planning such as Budget Plans and Marketing Plans?

Hi cwahyudi,

the app is assigned to the Business Catalog SAP_CEC_BC_MKT_PLG2_PC (Marketing - Planning).

By default this catalog is assigned to the Business Role BR_MARKETING_MANAGER (Marketingmanager).

I just checked in our system.

Please check if the catalog is assigned to the role that you use.

Can you please validate if your user in SMC is already assigned with business catelog either SAP_CEC_BC_MKT_PLG2_PC or SAP_CEC_BC_MKT_PLG1_PC (Deprecated since 2002)? These are the catalog which should be assinged to you user in order for you to access marketing planning capabilities.

Yes, I just checked that Marketing Expert role is also assigned with SAP_CEC_BC_MKT_PLG2_PC but in the Maintain Business Roles app, that does not seem to be the case, would you happen to know what is happening to this catalog in version 2002?

Hi,

Catalog is always assigned to a role and role should be assigned to a user. If you say "Marketing Expert role is also assigned with SAP_CEC_BC_MKT_PLG2_PC" then you just need to assigned the business role "Marketing Expert" to your user.
