Products for Leads

Dear Experts,

in the "Leads" facet of a corporate account we can see the leads that have been handed over from SAP Marketing Cloud to SAP Sales Cloud.

There is a column that is called "Products". But in Lead campaigns we are not able to assign any products to the campaign.

Also if I assign a product to the lead in the Sales Cloud that is not replicated to SAP Marketing Cloud.

Does anyone know what's the meaning of that column or how to fill it?

BR Tobias

Hi Tobias,

have you already checked the layout as suggested. I had to change the layout to show that field in C4C. If you need help on this let me know.

Best,

Hi Maya,

maybe we talk about two different things. The problem is not C4C. I can see the incoming interest there.

The problem is the "product"-column in the SAP Marketing Cloud. That column is empty even if I assign a product to the lead in C4C.

Hi Tobias,

sorry I was assuming a different scenario.

Please verify if the following helps you.

Inbound scenario from C4C to Marketing

https://help.sap.com/viewer/0f9408e4921e4ba3bb4a7a1f75f837a7/1905.500/en-US/0d3279567016e65ae1000000...

For the outbound scenario product item replication seems to be standard and you can find exactly the information in the column you show in your screen completed.

The scenario is the following

-Create a lead on c4c with product item

-Same information can be found on SAP marketing Cloud

I did a quick test and I was able to test this scenario on our demo system (product needs to be present in c4c and in marketing as well)

Outbound scenario

In this case the scenario seems to be completely different

Please refer to the following link

https://help.sap.com/viewer/0f9408e4921e4ba3bb4a7a1f75f837a7/1905.500/en-US/9fe20e9a407446828a20ba2a...

Based on this, the following prerequisites need to be covered:

-During an integration with SAP Cloud for Customer, the system only transfers product items for product origin SAP_C4C_PRODUCT

-As a prerequisite, there is a predecessor action, or trigger defined to the action Create Lead. The following options are possible:

- The predecessor interaction contains additional existing fields, such as Product-

-The system replicates additional fields during lead transfer, together with the lead. To add those fields to applicable fields in sales, mapping to sales fields must be defined.

Best,

Maya

Hi mayaboleto,

yes by default the interest is replicated to C4C as the description of the product.

But as you can see I already have the interests in the Marketing Cloud in the other column of the leads-facet. But the product column is still empty.

Further comment the relevant field is the Description related to the product. Be sure to have it available otherwise you need to update C4C layout

Hello Tobias,

per my knowledge you need to assign to the campaign created in SAP Marketing Cloud an interest.

This will be replicated on the lead in the product field.

Best,

Maya
