Product List Restriction for Sales Contract in SAP Cloud for Customer

As of now product list restriction is limited to sales documents (opportunity, sales quote), is there a configuration to extend it to sales contracts?

There is currently no connection to the sales contract. Still, this is a valid requirement. The assumption today is, that contract negotiations can lead after customer acceptance to a restricted product list. If you have customer requests to have this limitation let us know or ideally add it to the ideas/influence forum.

Thanks Guenter, yes we have a requirement as we have a option to create contract directly from account as well and independent contracts. In such scenarios, product restriction is not working.
