Product Deals

Hi Team,

We have a requirement to display all the product(base+variant) which will be part of deals in PLP page. admin will assign a particular product to the respective category. could you please suggest the solution for this. we are using HYBRIS 6.4 marketplace accelerator .

Not sure about marketplace, but on a traditional e-commerce site, I would create a category called deals

Now, if a category called deals is created. Then whenever a product is in deal, admin would assign the 'deals' category to the product and run a hot solr index update.

Once solr is updated, anyone hitting PLP will see that product as a 'deal' product. How you group deal products is a decision I leave to you. Hint: There is a grouping property in solr by which you can group results (base+variants)

If you have BaseProduct -> ColorVariant -> SizeVariant kind of structure, you can do the following. 1) Show BaseProduct in one tile and show different color as swatches. like the link below
