Proceed to deploy from Quality to Productive Tenant in SAP Marketing Cloud

Hello experts,

In order to proceed into deployment phase in Marketing Cloud and activate the productive tenant, I have to confirm the settings for all mandatory SSCUIs in the quality tenant, by changing the status column from open to confirmed in Manage Your Solution app. Knowing that I haven’t finished all configurations in Quality tenant yet, I would like to know if I could rollback and re-open the status after confirming it.

Hi Ayoub,

if you haven't already clicked the "Proceed To Run Phase" button, you could switch a confirmed status back to open again without any problems.

Hi ayoubelghalmi,

after you set all the statuses to confirmed and click the Proceed To Run Phase button, your configuration will be transported to P-system. There you have to use the Import Software Collection app to import it.

After that you can create a change project in your Q-system and have to set the status again for the next transport.

Hello schneidert,

We also deployed the initial transport yesterday. And today we can see that the "Configure your solution" app has the feature "Create change project". That means that the transfer is completed ? if not how can we follow the status of deployement ?

Because till the moment, we cannot create the employees using the initial user for P system, as we get this error :

"Determination of Business Partner Role for category BUP003 failed."

And following the note 2839778 "here", this error means that the transfer is not yet completed ?

Hi ahne,

after your transport has been completed and you've imported the configuration on P-System, you have to create a Change Project in MC Test-Tenant to do and transport again any configuration and extensibility.
