Problems with sending a reminder by mail - Action could not be locked

Hi all, one of our campaigns should send a reminder email to everyone who did not open the 1st mail.

The system then had problems sending it and the mail was sent with some delay first.

Unfortunately from the error log I can't see what was the problem now so we can avoid it if necessary.

Error Log:

Action started at "11.02.2022, 07:25:18" finished at "11.02.2022, 07:25:18".

Campaign wasn't executed. Action could not be locked.

Execution delayed. Previous execution is still running.

Object cannot be locked, since locked by SAP_SYSTEM

Save rejected. Execution could not be finalized.

Hello Lisa,

This problem happens because probably several execution of the follow up action (2nd e-mail) have been scheduled. A way to avoid this will be to schedule your follow up action at a specific time with the option send at.

Hi Lisa,

Normally you will find this error , if the previous execution of the same campaign was still running when the follow up action was scheduled.

Was there a previous execution with a finish time after 11.02.2022, 07:25:18 ?

Hey Saravana,

it was a campaign with a reminder after 7 days. Actually, the previous mail was supposed to be completed before the 2nd mail was sent.

Start date was 4.2.

Is there any way to avoid this behavior?
