Prevent updates to BP master data in SAP CRM from external Mobile devices - RetailEx

I am trying to restrict updates to the BP master data (Address, contact details) in SAP CRM from external mobile devices (RetailEx) through SMP.

Is there a way to block the master data updates on the BP through configuration settings or certain indicators?

Hi,

With the latest version of SAP Retail Execution(REx), there is a option introduced to prevent the creation of BPs(Contacts, Prospects) by maintaining a configuration in the UIConfigXML, but prevention of updates to BP is not supported in standard REx application.
