Posting date issue while posting FICA document-

Dear SAP Experts,

It has been observed that during posting of FICA document via FPE1, users enter a different posting date in the transaction, but system posts the document with wrong posting date as CPU date. It is our normal business operations to post documents from previous dates.

i.e The user entered posting date as 01.12.2019 in FPE1 header screen while system made posting in 31.12.2019. Posting period is also opened. This is not the case for all postings, the ratio is 1 out of 10, where posting is done in wrong date. Please, advice.

We have resolved the issue. We used one event from FQEVENTS, where coding was done to manage this. functional module FKK_SAMPLE_0062 (event 62)

Hi Syed,

It appears to me this issue might be occuring due to a system specific enhancement made in either event 0010,0020 or 0030

OR

For a particular main and sub transaction where posting date rule is defined in the path Contract Accounts Receivable and Payable --> Basic Functions --> Postings and Documents --> Document --> Maintain Sub-Transactions

Please check the above mentioned details.
