What is the “PoS system ID” /Prefix that we need to fill while installing SAP Customer Checkout?
Request clarification before answering.
Hello Karol,
POS system ID to be applied to the installation. Each POS system requires a unique POS system ID. The POS system ID is used as a default prefix for sequence numbers for all objects like receipt id, voucher id as prefix.
Default prefix for sequence numbers can also be changed later. The PoS system ID can also be changed later.
If you are using SAP Customer Checkout manager, and using central functions like Central User Management, Central Quick Selection assignment, then u can also assign based on this “PoS system ID”, you can login where.
Example: CashierA should be able to login in “PoS system ID” BR01 and CashierB should be able to login in “PoS system ID” BR02
Hope it helps.

Hi Bikash,
POS ID must be unique? because
We are implementing a Duty Free Store in a airport, with 5 POS with SAP B1 as ERP and Customer Checkout Manager. But for Customs Regulations the recepit sequence has to be unique for all POS, i mean, if we start with 1 in POS1 and the second receipt is made on POS2, that receipt has to be number 2, etc.
I thing that it was made enabling central recepit manager but no, in this case, all recept only are tracking on the manager but every POS has their own sequence.
It's is possible to do this? How we can achieve this.
Thanks in advance.
Isaac.
