Playing inband DTMF at the moment agent answers the call

Good afternoon!

I must preface this with the fact that the bulk of my knowledge is stuck somewhere at SP10 level.
Is there a way to play inband DTMF at the momen agent answers the call as there was in Wicom 5.5 times?

I think this is all about informing operator when billing starts? In general in CCtr 7.0 we are speaking about early and toll free queuing. You may check out following help page:

Hiya, Jukka.

I know of early queueing and forgot to mention that.
I've been tasked to fin an alternative solution due to the 2-minute time limit for early queueing. There is a concern based on the client's statistics that this will cause alot of repeated calling and confusion.

Okey. I agree that 2mins is not optimal, but like help pages are saying the limitation comes from SIP.

Based on the information I can say that there is no standard way to do it. Would require customization at server side or client end. Client side could be quite simple with clientcom as it can listen the events and also insert things to stream.
