Planned Spends in Campaign not transferred to ERP Project

Hi all,

We have managed to replicate the marketing campaign to ERP (ECC) as a PS project as per the best practice, the project is only replicated of we add a spend type. However, the spend planned amount is not replicated with the project, and thus it has no effect on the ERP and therefore the customer must perform the spends approvals on the ERP not on the Marketing.

Is there something wrong with our integration or this is the standard behavior?

Thanks in advance.

Hello Nada,

The planned spend amount is not replicated with the project in ERP in the standard integration.

One possibility to enhance the data sent to ERP is to modify your iFlow . In the iFlow you can use the Marketing Campaign API to retrieve the additional information you want to send to ERP.

Best regards,
Marc

Hi nada.hamad,

in addition to what Bruno already said: Isn't the data even going out of SAP Marketing Cloud or is it send to CPI and only doesn't reach ERP? In the second case I would activate the trace for the iFlow on CPI and check what's happening.

Hi nada.hamad. I'm not very familiar with the spend plan replication, but I suppose that you're using the standard integration explained here, right?

Did you check the logs for errors? Please check this recommendation from the documentation and let us know if we can help you in some other way:

You can use the Application Log application to check if there are errors with the integration. You can use the CUAN category and the Marketing Spend Integration in External System (CUAN_MSM_SPEND_DISTR) subcategory.

You can also use the Message Dashboard application to monitor if there are errors with the integration and to reprocess the integration. For more information, see Data Exchange Messages for Spend Planning Integration.

For a complete description of the configuration settings required for the integration scenario, see the setup guide at https://api.sap.com/package/SAPS4HANAMarketingCloudSAPERPActualandCommittedSpendIntegration?section=...
