Dear Experts,
when a Contact is replicated from C4C to SAP Marketing Cloud I have also the email-address and phone number included in the payload.
In the "Origin Data" facet of the contact I can see the data that is coming from C4C.
But obviously the phone number is not used for the Golden Record, so I cant see it in the Contact details.

Another Problem: the validation status for Contact Persons that come from C4C is "self-identified". In my opinion it should be at least "verified", shouldn't it?
As you can see there is also no phone number shown on the personal data tab for the replicated contact.

Does anybody have an idea why the phone number from C4C isn't used for the Golden Record or how to change that behavior?

Hi Tobias,
the validation status in driven by the following default logics.
In order to change this behaviour you need to implement a custom logic using the following business context
Marketing: Contact and Corporate Account Update Interaction Contact
At the following link
https://blogs.sap.com/2019/04/05/overview-for-implementing-custom-logic-in-sap-marketing-cloud/
At the end of the blog you can find Use-Case example 1 that refer to validation status for origins c4c
For phone number I think that you have to can use the same logic in order to have phone number as part of the golden record form c4c
Best,
Maya

Hi Maya,
thanks for your fast reply! 🙂
Glad to hear that this is the desired behavior, even if I think that it is not the best one...
I really don't understand why the system doesn't use a phone number that comes from an integrated CRM system. But I think we have to deal with that and use the BAdIs.
