Parent Social Media Configuration is Not Reflecting in Child Sites

Hi Team

We have 2 brands (A & B) under one parent site. and we are using the same Social login configuration for both. Hence We kept the Configuration in the parent Site

Site Structure

Parent Site

1. Site A

2. Site B

Now we are able to successfully log in with social media accounts in Site A, But we are getting errors in Site B. To resolve the same issue, We replicated the same Parent site social media configuration to Site B as well (Not To Site A). Then the social media login starts working in Site B as well. Can anyone help me to know why this weird issue is occurring?

Hi eldhos,

Looks like a bug. In the case of our implementation, we had a configuration for 4 Social Providers on the parent level and everything worked as expected.

I suggest to open SAP Support ticket on SAP for Me platform and provide to SAP team your case.

It seems to a configuration issue from your end or an SAP Bug.
