HI Experts,
As per our Business Requirement, We are providing easy Optout link in the Email content, to unsubscribe General Marketing permissions(Both marketing Permissions & Subscriptions should optout). In this Case, Marketing Permissions are Changed as Optout, but Subscriptions are at the UI level showing as Optout, but this not getting changed at Database Level I.e the Change is not reflecting at Segmentation.
When we cross check this, the Subscriptions are Marked as "The system overruled the settings made by the contact" with this message, but this is not Explicitly Optout. For which we identified one BADI "Overrule Subscription" from help.sap.com. But as mention in Badi document Rule 1 & 2 are not our requirement.
As per my Requirement, when the Marketing Permissions are optout based on the reference, Subscriptions also should optout explicit. If anyone has implemented this logic or has idea on how to define the logic. Can you please share with me.
Can anyone help in this regard.
Regards,
Hemanth

Hello,
Currently, "Overrule Subscription" BAdI is only available and you've to adapt accordingly.

Hello Hemanth,
As stated in the application help for Permission Marketing and Segmentation, "changes made by BAdIs will not be recognized by segmentation models".
The only way to influence the subscription is during campaign execution using the BAdI CUAN_MKT_SUBSCRIPTION_CHECK (Overrule Subscription).
Kind regards,
Mohannad
