order-process vs sap-order-process

Hello,

What is the difference between order-process vs sap-order-process? Out of the box functionality by default has order-process in the base store. When to use order-process and when to use sap-order-process?

Hi,

it depends on the type of integration for order management that you´ll like to use (async, sync, hibrid). If you are using hybris commerce for only taking the order and afterwards the order data get replicated in SAP ERP and get processed, you won´t need to use order management. In the other hand, If you would like to get processed the order in Hybris Commerce, you won´t need SAP order process. Remember that other instances such are prices are also required to define where to handle it. At the end, commerce doesn´t provide you with invoicing capabilities so everything is based and how to design the way you are going to use Commerce.
